What started off as a bikers’ carnival behind the Glendale Harley Davidson in 1981, quickly grew to be the single largest motorcycle charity event in the US. Over the next 30 years, the event raised 25 million dollars in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and other charitable causes.

After a four-year hiatus, the Love Ride returned. November 10th, 2019, 800 riders started in Harley-Davidson of Glendale and rode to the Harley-Davidson of Santa Clarita. Food by Dave Grohl’s one-man catering company, BackBeat BBQ, and 805 was poured throughout the day for attendees and rock n roll fans. After a long group ride there were musical performances by Chevy Metal, Robby Krieger (The Doors), and many other special guests. All the proceeds from the event went to the Love Ride Foundation to support the multiple charities they work with like, USO, Wounded Warrior, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
