There are few places in surfing quite like Lower Trestles.

This week, the world’s best are heading back to one of Southern California’s most iconic waves for the 2026 Trestles Pro, and 805 Beer will be there for it.

The Championship Tour event runs September 11–20 at Lower Trestles in San Clemente, California, bringing elite competition back to a wave that has been a proving ground for generations of surfers.

All Eyes on Lowers

Known for its long, high-performance walls and near-perfect canvas for progressive surfing, Lowers has played host to some of the most memorable moments in competitive surf history. This year, it once again becomes the center of the surf world as the Championship Tour rolls into California.

Before the main event gets underway, 805 Authentico Kirra Pinkerton will hit the water Thursday, September 10, with a chance to earn a wildcard into the Trestles Pro.

Then, when the official competition waiting period begins Friday, 805 Authentico Lakey Peterson will be back in the jersey and ready to take on Lowers.

Lakey comes into Trestles after a big 2026 season that included a win at Margaret River — her seventh Championship Tour victory.

805 Beer at Trestles

For 805, showing up at Trestles is about more than having a logo on the beach. Surfing has long been part of the people, places, and stories behind the brand.
