Tyler McCaul has been on two wheels for as long as he can remember. Growing up in Santa Cruz, California, Tyler, or, “T-Mac,” made a name for himself in downhill racing at a young age. Cutting his teeth alongside a strong community of riders in Aptos, his riding journey started at legendary spots like the Post Office and continues to greater heights today.

His big brother and fellow professional mountain biker Cam McCaul was his driving force to get on a bike. He grew up riding Moto and eventually transitioned into riding mountain bikes, racing downhill competitively until he was 19 years old. It was here that he decided to follow his passion for freeriding and began competing in different contests around the world.

Today, Tyler is widely recognized for the innovative and technical approach he brings to his riding. And how he incorporates daring manoeuvres and stylish tricks into his runs. As a skilled athlete and a passionate advocate for the sport, he inspires the next generation of riders to push their own limits on the trails.

Having started riding at a young age, he has become a respected figure within the mountain biking community as well. With numerous podium finishes in events such as Crankworx and Red Bull Rampage, the results speak for themselves. He consistently challenges the boundaries of what is achievable on a bike. His impressive skills in slopestyle and freeride competitions are a testament to his hard work and dedication.

Now residing in Utah, we couldn’t be more stoked to invite Tyler into our 805 Beer family. He continues to inspire and push the limits of what is possible on a mountain bike, and we are thrilled to see what he does next.
