Conner Coffin grew up in Santa Barbara, California, and since kindergarten he’s been surfing Rincon, where his dad would push him into waves as a grom. From an early age, he saw his heroes in the lineup who paved the way for the surfer he’d become. Now Conner finds himself among the top five on the world tour with a chance to win the title.

Surfing has taken Conner all over the world, and he now spends part of his year on Pipeline. His story is one of Central Coast kid turned elite surfer, and we’re stoked to have a local boy join the 805 crew.

“Firestone Walker is part of the landscape where I grew up,” Conner said. “They’re ingrained in this place I call home, and we share a lot of the same values and pursuits. It just feels like the perfect time for me to become a part of the 805 Beer family and see where it takes us.”

Growing up in Santa Barbara afforded Conner the opportunity to be immersed in a culture of legendary point break power surfing. Living right down the road from Rincon shaped him into the powerhouse right hander surfer that he is.
